Restored by God’s Grace – Genesis 38 v1-22
God will initiate restoration to those who have turned their back on Him because of who He is, not because of the sinner. God will seek out the sinner because of His grace. Sinners will worship God by living a committed life of obedience and give to Him because they know that everything that happens to them has been filtered through the loving hands of God.

Circumventing God – Genesis 27 v1 – 46
On the surface, this is an account of how Jacob and his mother, Rebekah, received God’s blessing by deceiving his father, Isaac. But it is also the story of a family that fragments over the pursuit of spiritual blessing. There are no heroes in this incident where everyone is trying to circumvent God and in the end, no one ultimately received God’s full blessing. Nonetheless, in spite of the conniving and deceit, God accomplishes His purposes.

Be Attentive to Your Spiritual Birthright Part 2 – Genesis 25 v19 – 34
We only get one shot at this life. We need to make sure that we’re not wasting our lives by investing our lives in living for ourselves. If you’re living for what meets your immediate needs, just using God for what He can do for you, you’ll end up losing the spiritual blessings which count for eternity. You’re trading your soul for the wrong things.

Be Attentive to Your Spiritual Birthright – Genesis 25 v19-34
Too many Christian people are no more attentive to their soul or their spiritual legacy than they are to bowl of chili on a cold Saturday afternoon. The problem is too many Christians trade away their spiritual birthright for things far less noble, far less honorable, far less significant, and far less important. The problem is that too many Christian folks are not really attentive to their spiritual birthright because they are too attentive to their immediate desires and pleasures, whatever those may be for each individual.

Christmas – John 1
The real question of Christmas is “Who do you think Jesus really is?” According to Christianity, this is the most important question anyone will ever answer in their life? It is important because it is inescapable!! You will have to answer it sooner or later…in this life or in the next…and the quality of your life both now and in eternity depend on your answer!! Who is Jesus Christ? If he was only a man, then you can safely forget Him. If he is God, as He claimed to be, then you should give your life to Him the moment you realize who He really is. You should worship Him and serve Him for what He has done for you!!

Biblical Principles for Finding a Spouse – Genesis 24
A marriage license does not a guarantee a successful marriage any more than a fishing license guarantees that you’ll catch a bunch of fish. It merely provides you with an opportunity to try. A successful marriage is as much about being the right person as it is finding the right person.
